About Asian Paints SmartCare Damp Block 2K
SmartCare Damp Block 2K is a two-component, acrylic polymer-modified cementitious coating for interior walls, bathrooms and other damp-prone surfaces.
It's applied before putty and paint to stop moisture coming through the wall, and it helps prevent efflorescence — the white, salty patches that push paint off damp walls.
It's a common fix for ground-floor rooms, bathroom walls and walls next to wet areas, where paint keeps bubbling and peeling.

How to apply
Scrape off flaking paint and putty down to the plaster and clean the surface. Mix the two components thoroughly as directed on the pack. Brush it onto the wall in the specified number of coats, and let it cure before applying putty and paint.
