About Deep Orange Enamel
Deep Orange is a vivid, glossy orange enamel for signage, machinery, barriers, grills and decorative metalwork.
Like other high-visibility shades, it's often used on equipment and markings that need to stand out on a site or in a workshop.
On homes, Deep Orange is used sparingly, for a bicycle shed, a playground frame or a door accent, where a splash of energetic colour lifts the space. It pairs well with grey, white and dark blue.
Key features
- Ready-mixed orange shade
- High-gloss finish
- For iron and wood
How to apply
Remove rust, old flaking paint and grease, then sand the surface lightly. Apply a suitable primer — red oxide or zinc chromate for iron, wood primer for wood. Brush on two thin coats of enamel, thinning with mineral turpentine as directed on the tin, and let the first coat dry fully before the second.
Recommended primer: Red oxide or zinc chromate primer on iron; wood primer on wood.
Frequently asked questions
Orange is widely used for high-visibility markings on barriers, machinery and equipment. For official safety signage, check whether your site follows a specific colour standard.
Yes. Synthetic enamel is made for iron and wood, indoors and outdoors. For gates and grills, remove rust and apply a metal primer first so the Deep Orange topcoat lasts longer.
Enamel is oil-based, so it's thinned with mineral turpentine, not water. Follow the thinning ratio printed on the tin, and clean your brushes with turpentine afterwards.
Yes. We deliver Deep Orange enamel across Dehradun, usually within 1–2 days, and delivery is free on orders above ₹10,000. You can also pick it up from our shop on Vidhan Sabha Road, Defence Colony, near the Railway Crossing.
