About Golden Brown Enamel
Golden Brown is a lighter, warmer brown enamel with a golden undertone, well suited to wooden doors, frames, cupboards and furniture.
It brightens woodwork compared with darker browns, which suits smaller rooms and lighter wall colours.
Golden Brown is a good choice for kitchen cabinets, almirahs and study tables, where a warm, light wood tone feels welcoming. It pairs well with white, cream and soft yellow walls.
Key features
- Ready-mixed golden brown
- High-gloss finish
- For iron and wood
How to apply
Remove rust, old flaking paint and grease, then sand the surface lightly. Apply a suitable primer — red oxide or zinc chromate for iron, wood primer for wood. Brush on two thin coats of enamel, thinning with mineral turpentine as directed on the tin, and let the first coat dry fully before the second.
Recommended primer: Red oxide or zinc chromate primer on iron; wood primer on wood.
